This media may be deleted.
Thanks for uploading File:Aareschlucht 0031.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

Warning: unless the permission information is given, the file may be deleted after seven days. Thank you.

Hi Herby,
Thank you for keeping a keen eye on the community. As I'm new here and wanted to contribute some of my work (having benefited greatly from Wikicommons this past year and thought I would give something in return), I'm unsure why you're tagging my content with "missing permission." Could you please let me know what I can do to improve so you don't need to tag my photos for deletion? Thank you! Joana JoanaImages (talk) 14:13, 23 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Simply to protect you as the copyright holder. On the Internet we really don't know who people are (though I'm sure the work is yours!) so we need to get confirmation of the licensing from you. Hopefully that helps. Best Herby talk thyme 14:15, 23 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Ah ok, no worries. I thought I do something wrong. Not a problem at all. Thanks for the quick reply! Joana JoanaImages (talk) 14:17, 23 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
And best to make it a general statement about your images to cover all of them rather than individual ones. Thanks (and nothing "wrong", simply to protect you and your images). Herby talk thyme 14:19, 23 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
The general statement is a great idea - how can I do it? Can I change the automated generated email? Joana JoanaImages (talk) 14:30, 23 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
